Q1: What is the main difference between Calcium Sulphate and Steel-Cement (OA) floors?
A1: Calcium Sulphate panels have a much higher density, resulting in a superior, "concrete slab" feel underfoot and better acoustic insulation (less noise). They are also inherently Class A fire-resistant and considered a more environmentally friendly "green" product.
Q2: How thick are these panels?
A2: The panel core thickness typically ranges from 30mm to 40mm, depending on the specific load rating model (e.g., FS800 vs. FS1500). This high-density thickness is key to its exceptional strength.
Q3: Can I get any finish on this panel?
A3: Yes. We offer a wide variety of factory-applied finishes, including the most popular anti-static High-Pressure Laminates (HPL) and conductive vinyl. We also provide bare panels if you wish to apply your own finish like carpet tiles on-site.
Q4: Is this floor suitable for heavy equipment in a data center?
A4: Absolutely. The FS800-1500 series is specifically engineered for high load environments. It excels at handling both static loads (heavy server racks) and dynamic/rolling loads (equipment carts).
